Aragon Research just released their 2018 Aragon Research Globe™ for Enterprise Video and Ramp is once again honored to be positioned in this highly-regarded market evaluation. The Globe covers technology providers across the industry that allow an enterprise to manage all forms of video. While most of the providers offer enterprise video platforms for video content management and webcasting, Ramp falls into an exclusive category due to our unique focus entirely on managing the distribution of video inside the corporate firewall.
The Globe’s Specialist sector recognizes providers that fulfill their strategy well but have a narrower or more targeted emphasis with regard to overall industry and user expectations. We believe our designation as the Specialist for enterprise content delivery (eCDN) is confirmation of success in addressing a targeted but pervasive issue in a market of significant growth.
Video has proven to be an engaging and preferred form of communication, and as such the applications for video inside the enterprise continue to expand. Our network infrastructure solutions optimize video traffic to significantly reduce the bandwidth consumed over the corporate internet connection and the internal network connections to distributed locations.
The Globe notes a variety of Ramp’s strengths, including vendor-neutral SDN infrastructure reinforced by dozens of integrations with enterprise video platforms.
