Ramp for Microsoft 365 Stream

Microsoft announced the general availability of live events in Microsoft 365 in March, allowing anyone to create live and on-demand video using Microsoft Stream, Teams or Yammer. Like most Microsoft 365 solutions, it’s already taken off.  

Most IT pros we talk to tell us they’re already using or testing Microsoft Stream. In fact, a recent Wainhouse survey found nearly 65% of organizations are evaluating Microsoft Stream as part of their video communications strategy and 28% have already adopted it.1

Microsoft Stream is a great option for streaming video (and it’s free with Microsoft 365), but almost everyone is concerned what it’ll do to their network. Beyond a poor-quality viewing experience riddled with buffering and glitches, they’re worried about how it will impact business-critical operations.  

High-quality video eats up a lot of bandwidth, and most corporate networks aren’t sized to handle it. Microsoft Stream is a powerful video platform, but it can’t solve enterprise bandwidth constraints. 

The Solution
